Scandinavia and the World
''Scandinavia and the World'' is a webcomic series created by the Danish artist Humon. It began in 2009, and is still running, with Humon posting comics every few days. The series depicts stereotypical images of the Nordic countries and their interactions with stereotypical images of the rest of the world.
== Format ==
''Scandinavia and the World'' often takes the form of a multipanel comic, though some of the comics have only one panel. Occasionally, in place of a more traditional comic, Humon releases pictures of the main characters going about their lives, or sketches of unused ideas. All releases have a short description by Humon underneath them, explaining the comic, as many of the "Scandinavia and the World" comics draw on real history. In addition, every year, Humon draws a comic commemorating the Eurovision song contest of that year, beginning with 2009's show. Sometimes (though rarely), Humon lets others guest-write and draw her comics.
